Product Review: Minene 4-In-1 Changing Bag

Changing bags come in all shapes and size, and range from totally functional to the more style-led end of the market.  The team at Minene sent me one of their bags to review after taking a shine to it at a ‘Christmas In July’ event earlier this year.
The 4-In-1 Changing Bag from Minene is just that – four separate bags that can be used either clipped together as one bag, or individually as one large super bag.
Firstly there is a backpack – this has two large deep zipped pockets and then two thermal pockets on the side for bottles.  Inside the two deep pockets are a selection of smaller pockets and a detachable thermal pouch that fits food and snacks in which need to be kept at temperature. There is also a zip pocket on the back with a comfortable changing mat inside.
Next there is a satchel bag – this is cunningly “hidden” inside one of the deep pockets.  When used within the backpack I utilised the security of a double zipped pocket to store items like my purse, car keys and camera.  When used separately it is a stylish shoulder bag, which I often use as a handbag when I’m out without my Little Man!
Then there is a smaller shoulder bag – this clips to the front of the backpack and is designed to hold your nappies and wipes.  With the separate straps which can be attached this transforms into a handy shoulder bag.
Finally there is a small purse – this is ideal if you’re just nipping out and want to have an emergency nappy and pack of wipes with you just in case.
All of these separate bags have been used as one easy to carry rucksack, and have also been used separately when every component part wasn’t needed.  As I said earlier I have even used the satchel bag as a handbag when I went out recently without my Little Man – it really is that attractive and roomy.
The Minene 4-In-1 Changing Bag is available online and comes in a variety of colours.
Minene have another changing bag – the Layla.  This is designed to look much more like a designer handbag than a changing bag, and does the job beautifully.  It has one large zipped pocket, three external thermal pockets and a matching changing mat.
The Layla Changing Bag is available now online and at Babies R Us in a variety of colours.
