Whilst at Top Drawer the other week I also stumbled upon Just Trade, a family run business supporting fair trade projects in Lima, Peru. We all know the importance of fair trade products, but how many of you actually own something fair trade? Maybe I can tempt you with Just Trade.

Just Trade stock a range of jewellery and accessories for both parents and children. Necklaces, bracelets and earrings in a variety of materials and designs feature heavily in their online store, as well as belts and a cute range of hats and booties for little ones. For children my favourite product has to be this:

Since before he was born I’ve been drawn towards hats with ears for my Little Man – much to his Dads despair – and this one is a definite contender for cutest.  Cosy and warm and a natural oatmeal colour – no dyes or pesticides here – this hat is made by members of the Mama Ursula project who aim to provide employment for women to support their families.

If you’re after something a bit different for yourself though, I couldn’t help but smile when I saw their range of brooches. Guaranteed to brighten any coat:

There is a huge selection of handmade crocheted brooches in a range of fruit and vegetable designs, as well as a few little creatures. Grandma was a big fan of this, from their Garden Helpers range:

Just Trades huge range can be found online.
