Socks are a complete waste of time. Before babies start wearing proper footwear – more on that in future reviews – socks alone are pointless. My Little Man seems to thoroughly enjoy removing and eating his socks, or dropping them out of his pram if we’re out and about. As the cold months approach barefoot is no longer an option so I set out to find an alternative before we ventured into the world of foot measuring and new shoes potentially every six weeks! You’ll be pleased to hear that I do in fact have a solution.

Snuguns!!

Now you may already be aware of their lovely range of gloves, but come December Snuguns will be branching out into booties. Elasticated socks which have a black band which you fold down so its fitted around the ankle bone ensures a perfect fit which even my Little Man can’t remove.  The loop pile means there is comfort and cushioning that also allows complete movement whilst air moves freely so you don’t end up with overheating feet. My favourite feature is the silicone lattice pattern on the soles which means they won’t slip when they start cruising and eventually walking around.

These “booties that fit growing feet” do just that – they fit as they grow. One pair will fit from age 6 months up to about 4 years. Available in pink and blue I highly recommend that you invest in a pair – or two – for your little ones.

Snuguns Booties will be available from http://www.snuguns.com

Whilst you’re there take a look at their glove range – also perfect for those cold winter months.
